This Monday I wanted to encourage you ladies to have courage. Courage is defined as, the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery. We are living in a time where everyone is facing hardships, uncertainties and worries that we did not see coming so quickly. Nowadays it is so easy to go off to the deep end. Now I am not saying that we should not be concerned and be aware, but I am saying that we need to even that much more hold onto the courage that only can be found in Christ. (Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”) Hold onto your faith and have courage during these tough times and as well with anything else that happens in life. The Lord never promised that we would be untouched by any problems that arise, but her did promise to never leave us and to grant us with all we need to make it through. (Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”) I do my best to think of the positive sides of things, but when chaos seems to be everywhere right now its hard to keep your faith as strong as you’d like. So keep praying, keep reaching out to those loved ones and stay in the Bible to strengthen your courage. We need it now more than ever. Believers staying firm in the Lord and keeping the faith and taking up courage each day for ourselves, each other and the world.
