Psalm 40:7 – Then I said, “Here I am, I have come…
Sometimes the Lord calls for us to come to Him. Actually, a lot of times he asks for us to come to Him. Life can be so distracting, overwhelming, to the point where we can get lost in even seeking help when we really need it. With Jesus Christ it is more than just waiting for Christ to show up like we’re waiting for a bus to come as scheduled. We need to be so desperate for Christ that we get in his path instead. (Isaiah 55:6 – Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:) God is faithful at all times even when we are not. God is merciful, even when we don’t deserve it. Remember during those hard times that we all face in life, we are not alone. Don’t try to push through with your own strength, because you will 100% fail. We need more than nice words to get through. We need an extra hand from the one who holds our life and every situation in control. (Psalm 94:19 – “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.) If we truly want a stronger relationship with Christ we have to be constantly seek him, constantly want more, constantly have a heart to know his heart. It’s relational and its personal. So just go to him. Go to Christ with a heart to know and with a heart that needs Him.
