“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.” -Coco Chanel
Coco Chanel was legendary and it truly was because of how different she was and she came along during a time where there was virtually no women designers. Her name today is known by the world. You know who else’s’ name is known across the world? Jesus. And even then his name still needs to be spread to the masses. And the only way we can do that is by stepping out on faith and making each day count. The Lord calls on all of us everyday to make his name great. We can display his grace and faithfulness and kindness of God by how we conduct ourselves in the workplace. During a hard situation, thinking of others above yourself. And it all makes him look fabulous.
Seems like an odd word to use to describe Jesus, right? Cause you mainly hear this word used by us women to describe our clothes, shoes and even ourselves. but I decided to look up the definition for fabulous which states; almost impossible to believe; incredible; exceptionally good or unusual; marvelous, superb. Now wouldn’t that be how you would describe Jesus and all he is? I’d think so. And when we look back on the miracles and the teachings of Jesus, none of them could have been done without faith. Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 He replied, “because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
I know we all have days where our faith tank is on low with the gas light on. But Jesus reminds us just how important it is to hold onto our faith even when it’s only a small fragment left. God will still honor our request. Our faith in God can shape our day and it can shape the world. Let’s step out on faith and do something different and fearless with it no matter what our tank level look like and have faith that he will fill us up to do his will. Faith in Jesus is fabulous. Just like you and me.
