No one likes losing. No one loves failure. Why? Because that lose or failure; no matter what it is does hold a constant reminder of what you could have done right ot what you could have done better. There are days that I feel as though I have failed as a mother or wife just for little things like maybe I didn’t have my kids eat enough vegetables or I came down to hard on my daughter for doing something wrong. Or maybe I didn’t spend enough time with my husband and neglected his needs. Me burning dinner a few weeks ago. Failure has many facades. But it’s apart of life. So how do we live with failure? How do we handle the aftermath of a failed experience?
Because We Learn What Not to Do Again. Psalm 119:71 – It was good for me to be afflicted so that I could learn Your Statutes. Looking back at those hard times and failures does show us how far we can grow and how we can use that failed experience to be a better disciple. There are lessons to be learned in so many parts of our lives. So take it as a positive to be better for the kingdom.
It Helps Us Build Up Endurance James 1:23 – Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Not everything that comes are way we are expected to be great at. We are not going to catch it the first time around. But over time we can gain endurance, perseverance; that drive, that fire to move forward and keep getting up no matter what. (Proverbs 24:16) You never know how brave you are until faced with something scary. You never know how strong you are until faced with something that will push you beyond your own power. So failure is just another obstacle that will have you ask yourself, will you still push forward?
Jeremiah 8:4 – So you are to tell them this is what the Lord says: “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not return?
