Don’t Get Caught Up

Remember ladies, let’s always keep in mind the one we represent. Let’s also keep in mind God’s commandments, standards and example. (Galatians 5:22-23) Especially when we interact with those who may not know Jesus or they do and have just had a bad experience that has turned them away. We need to hold ourselves accountable and take into consideration the experiences of others.

We all have a story and we all want to be heard and feel there is someone who will not judge us. Someone we can go to freely with open arms. And that is Jesus. (“Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away.” – John 6:37)
But if they are rejected by God’s people who’d rather follow slogans and traditions rather than the Jesus we are suppose to be emulating, then where can they go? The same Jesus that saved you wants to save all those around you. So don’t reject the people that God has instructed us to open our arms to. It’s not about us. Its about Jesus.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20
