God’s Plan Prevails. Always.

Jeremiah 7:23 – But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Jesus is the ultimate example that God’s plan will always prevail. The purpose that God has for you is designed for His glory to be made known. You are the vessel by which God’s plan is executed through.

The plan for Jesus was to die on the cross for our sins. The sins of the world. And when we read the Bible, there are obvious obstacles, distractions and unexpected life happenings ( Lazarus’ death) that He went through and endured. He even went to pray that God would remove the burden of the cross from Him. (Matthew 26:42) But God did not. Because there was a plan that was set. With God there is no plan B. He gives us instructions and it’s our job to follow through.

There are many things that will be tossed at us, as we continue to follow and fulfill His purpose. And there will also be moments (maybe more than we’d like) that will challenge us, discourage us, make us want to throw in the towel or question God and His plan. But before you give up, notice that Jesus was able to triumph over every temptation, every obstacle, every struggle, every hardship sent His way. And again, He was sent to die. That means no matter what someone says about you or how many times you make a mistake or if you feel inadequate or uncertain, none of those things will stop the will of God.

Once Jesus bowed His head and died and then rose again, it solidified that the gift of salvation is now available to all who receive it. (John 1:12) If the plan was never completed, the world and all of us in it would be doomed. Keep in mind that God’s plan is not a self-indulgent one. All that Jesus did, was to make His father’s glory known to everyone. It’s about more than you. As you continue to proclaim the Gospel and keep moving forward in God’s will, allow Jesus to be your example of how to never quit, allow Him to help you look at the bigger picture of God’s plan and understand that the completed work you do has the power to change the world, just like Jesus.

Where there is God’s will, God will have His way. Let Jesus be your example in finishing the plan.
